Reporting To:
Territory Market Manager 

5 Accountabilities:

  • Base Business Organic Growth
    • Support and maintain year over year growth for assigned accounts
    • Plan on a quarterly basis with assigned accounts for future needs
  • Obtain Referral Business
    • Acquire 2 (two) new referrals per week from base business clients
    • Work with Inside Sales and Business Development to schedule, monitor, and follow up on the referral meetings
  • Quote & Close Daily Opportunities
    • Understand the base business’ needs and maintain those relationships by generating repeat business Quotes
    • Close the business by providing every-day solutions to base business clients and ensuring repeat business
  • Inventory Recommendations & Support
    • Work with Purchasing to monitor inventory levels specific to your base business clients’ needs
    • Suggest and/or recommend what items need to be stocked in inventory specific to your base business clients’ needs
  • Achieve Quarterly Sales/Margin/GP% Goals
    • Quarterly sales goals and margin goals will be determined each quarter by Market Manager
    • Quarterly Gross Profit (GP) % goals will be determined each quarter by Market Manager

Daily Expectations:

  • Client interactions are documented in the Client Record in NetSuite
    • Phone calls
    • Meetings
  • NetSuite Calendar is kept current with scheduled events and client meetings
  • Research, prepare and provide Quotes to base business clients from NetSuite per their requests
  • Review and address Open Quotes with Inside Sales and Business Development; follow up on those opportunities
  • Work with Inside Sales and Business Development to identify and process base business opportunities
  • Process and send Sales Orders; send Terms & Conditions
  • Work with Inside Sales and Business Development to process Purchase Orders 

Weekly Expectations:

  • Minimum of 2-3 visits per week
    • Base business clients
    • Referred business
  • Minimum of 7 (seven) Sales Orders from the 10 visits
  • 2 (two) client referrals per week

Monthly Expectations: 

  • Visit with base business clients every month
  • Coordinate with Purchasing on inventory expectations for local inventory on the market “need” and minimum inventories
